For my 5’3″ frame, I never thought I would acquire a maxi dress that worked with my proportions and body shape, gelled with my style personality, and flattered my color space. I think I finally nailed it. Would love to hear what you think?

I think it looks gorgeous on you. I can see what you mean about the more commonly seen maxi dress styles not working – they’re too long, too wide, and too casual for you. This one is just right!
Thanks my friend for commenting. My next venture will be the palazza or flowy pants. I think they will be a bigger fit issue and by then they will be out of style.
For an item of clothing that is supposed to be “out of bounds!” you look amazing. Proof that knowing the rules and then bending the crap out of them is really rewarding!
