Had an “Ask Lisa” Style Solutions Virtual client submit a question yesterday.  “I’ve noticed that the zipper on my dress sticks a bit.  Do you have any suggestions for how to fix my zipper?”

Warning- this is not a permanent zipper fix.  If it is a dark colored zipper use the graphite from a #2 pencil.  Draw all over the zipper teeth with the graphite to get things moving again.  Most times zippers are only jammed up in one spot so you only need to apply the graphite to the area.

Light hued zipper?  You can use wax paper, bar of white Dove soap, white candle wax (not heated), clear lip balm or petroleum jelly.
